COVID-19 Vaccinations
The first phase of the NHS COVID-19 vaccination programme has started in the UK. Vaccinations are being delivered according to priority groups identified by the Joint Committee of Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI). When it is the right time for you to receive the vaccine, you will receive an invitation to come forward. Please do not contact us to get an appointment, we will contact you.
Information on the vaccine is available on the NHS.UK website. For anything else, your GP practice is open and if you need to get in touch, please ring call us or book an appointment online.
Adults over 50s flu vaccination
As part of the Government’s expanded flu immunisation programme, adults over the age of 50 will be able to get their free flu vaccine from 1 December 2020. We will be contacting you to book this appointment. Please note that you also may receive a call from the NHS Immunisation Management Service reminding you to book your flu jab, this is a legitimate service and not a fraudulent call.
Coronavirus
Please do not come into the surgery if you or a member of your household has any of the following symptoms: a fever, a new continuous cough or a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia). Please stay at home and self-isolate for 14 days.
We have changed the way we book our appointments in response to the latest Government guidance on COVID-19. All patients who request any type of appointment will first be telephoned by a clinician. The clinician will assess you and determine how best to meet your care needs. If you do not need to come into the surgery, you will be given the appropriate self-care advice, treatment and information on what to do if you become more unwell. You will be offered an appointment if it is essential for you to be seen face to face. Thank you for your cooperation during this time.
The latest COVID-19 guidance and information can be from here gov.uk and at nhs.uk.

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
Access
Both surgeries have disabled access and parking available for patients.
Car Parking at Nirmala
When arriving by vehicle at Nirmala, please be considerate of our neighbours and park within the car park at the rear of the surgery. If this is full and you are required to park elsewhere, please ensure that your vehicle does not block any residential driveways or access to the pavement for pedestrians.
Take the Friends & Family Test
The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) was introduced in 2014 to help service providers and commissioners understand whether their patients are happy with the service provided, or where improvements are needed. It is a quick and anonymous way to give your views after receiving care or treatment across the NHS.
Help us to improve our service, learn more about the test and give us your feedback.
